FRANK’S ORIGINAL SONG:
“A Small Town Christmas",” is a song 40 years in the making. Written and composed by Frank in the 70’s, the song sat on a shelf for years. It would be Frank’s wife, Mary Ann, years later, who would encourage him to record it. A chance meeting with legendary jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli made it a reality. Frank would go on to record a studio version… and the rest is history.
The song is about Frank’s memories of a cold, snowy evening in the tiny town of Windham, New York and the warmth of the holiday season in the air.
For Frank, turning his dream of making this song into a reality was only the first step. He wanted to make sure people heard it… and they did.
Upon its release, Frank was invited to appear on local and national news programs to discuss his long and rewarding journey to make this song. He has been featured in the New York Times, Newsday and other prominent publications. In fact, when Frank's story was covered by Newsday in 2018, the following year it earned the journalist, John Hanc, "Best Newspaper Feature," in the Fair Media Council Folio Awards. It can be heard on all smart devices and streaming platforms. The song can also be heard by clicking the link below.
